Thank you for the update.
Thank you for the update.
I have no background in any of this stuff, but the interface and idea of electronic music and beat production interested me. The price and apparent complexity kept me away but I gave it a shot, and am glad I did. Would be nice if it were easier to import new wav. Still have no idea how to do most things but its fun to play with. So many options. What i really like is how you can setup a table, and record a sequence, and then use that sequence as a building block in a new table, so you can keep building and building. You wont see me at the next rave mixing beats and waving glowsticks, but Its a lot of fun to do on the couch :)
Its SUPER FUN. I can now relive the real thing! Absolutely worth the $10.
when i first saw reactable and music cubes being used a few years back now i was completely stunned and blown aways. the tactile interface and interacting between musical and visual elements was such a amazing concept. it was kind of like taking the idea of a patch cord synth and turning it up a notch .... or was it. reactable really is a sample play back system with maybe a bit of analog modeling thrown in for good measure. not too sure about what kind of synthesis is employed with the oscillators . Any how i get how cool this is to watch in a live in performance. And it does look amazing. This app is only ten bucks. You know there is a but coming right! lol. Well i found this to be really kind of cumbersome to get used to. Yup its fairly intuitive but honestly I found the korg ipad apps to be way more fun and musical. They also sound much much better. Reactable looks amazing projected on a wall behind me its quite neat to watch. The thing is tho its kind of like back in the day when your favorite arcade game would show up on the n64 or sega. It was close to the arcade game but somehow it fell short of providing the full effect of the real thing. Still a great little program but not the first app i run when looking for some musical inspiration for the ipad. i did not completely regret the ten bucks spent its only ten bucks. I mean ten years ago if someone told me i could get something like this for ten bucks i would have thought that i must be talking to someone who was high on crack.
I wanted to love the Reactable. I love playing/creating music, but clearly, after over two months trying, this app does not suit my way of doing music. Maybe is I was more of a dj and less an improviser, I would have liked it more. The interface isnt as easy to master as it looks like or as it should. A tutorial would be more than welcomed. In the end, I feel my hands are tied by the inputs, instead of being inspired by them. Well, if you like this app, good for you (really)! As for me, Im going back to Thumbjam and will keep looking for other music apps that might suit my "type".
This is an amazing app. I want to go play it in the tub with headphones on. Ive been messing around with a bunch of these interfaces, and this one owns the current title for fun and quick startup. However, they arent kidding when they mention system drag. On a first gen iPad, the app has a troubling tendency to flake out - certain modules will just choke and go unresponsive - and i can assure you its not due to the Byzantine complexity of my "compositions". In point of fact, several of the sample tables on offer cause the same symptoms. I must be honest, though, my comment is motivated more by hope for some swiftish attention to better system resource management than disappointment in even the present experience. Now if only I could lay hands on a spare $10k for the full reactable live experience... Seriously, guys, look how lean SUNVOX is...
This app is loads of fun and I can pass a lot of time improvising and toying with it, but I wish you would update the graphics to look a bit sharper on the iPad. Im on an iPad 2 and some of the lines are quite jagged and pixelated. A small complaint but it would make me enjoy it even more!
The beat desynchronize over the time :-( Please fix this bug so we can start using with other apps. Will be 5 stars app when this will be fix.
I really love my reactable app... Once u get the hang of it it gets pretty goddamn fun. I do wish that there were more loop samples... Or even if you could buy them. Apart from that, two thumbs up.
Amazing way to control and create music, its innovative and while not as powerful as the real reactable system it is 100 times cheaper :) so this is a fantastic way to experience reactable , its one of the coolest music creation apps Ive ever seen. Love it! I hope there are more objects in a future update. Alex from Canada
.
Best ten bucks spent yet..for those it doesnt work for, or closes... It takes a lot of ram.. Close apps,, maybe, clean your pod once a year and itll work duh..but it is amazing.. Purchase if you can;)
Good, fun, but far from perfect. Audiobus support is a plus. Crash sometimes. Lack of factory samples. Lack of usability.
What happens when it doesnt crash? It freezes.
App is awesome Im really enjoying making music, the only problem Im having though is that the app keeps on crashing please review and fix bugs.
Next to impossible to even get a simple boring snare beat going. Buy a drumstick and hit your furniture, its cheaper and stress reducing as opposed to this stress machine.
This is confusing! Cool app, but run by ghosts? Says there are purchases available but nothing restores, even though I bought them? Then they are there anyway...Come on. Fix the disconnect...
Reactable is super cool I bought this app years ago and they still update it. This is such a fun musical tool. I love you.

操作性から見ると最高に面白い ですが設定を変更すると何度も落ちる β版なら分かるが ビョークの名前を使って、料金を徴収するなら もっとしっかりした開発をするべきだと思う Liveで使えなきゃ意味ないです Very Interesting operation. But Stop many times to change the settings. If the version is β, will be OK. You should develop more robust if you charge a fee.Not used in LIVE, does not make sense
